Falls in the Elderly Psychiatric Patients
Cheon Jin-Sook

Abstract
Falls are associated with significant mortality and morbidity in older people, which causes 70% of accidental deaths in the aged over 75, and 90% of hip fractures in the aged over 70. Risk factors for falls in the elderly are increasing age, medication use, cognitive impairment, sensory deficits, etc. To reduce the incidence of falls, clinicians and researchers have developed risk. Assessment tools to identify high-risk patients, and preventive interventions have been developed and evaluated.
